MENORCA FIESTIVALS

In summer the island transforms and the festival is installed in it. One one side there is the most conventional party in bars and nightclubs, but in INCOMING MENORCA we want to make you know the festivals of the island, those in the pomada, horses, the Des Migjorn Band and their samba, the jaleo and caragols. In which thousands of people gets on the street for fun.


The most known is the annual festival of Sant Joan in Ciutadella, which open the holiday season, on June 24th. Where there is more participation, up to 80,000 people head to Ciutadella for this celebration, considering that the city’s population is only 25,000 inhabitants.
After Sant Joan festivals alternate every weekend of summer in every village coinciding with the celebration of its patron or patroness. 11 are the celebrations that we can visit during the summer, ending with the Mahon festival, held on September 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th.
